42 Days and Counting!

I know, I'm the worst at keeping everything updated.
I literally have no time to blog. Okay, well I make no time to blog.
Wedding plans are taking over, especially as we get closer.
It's funny because it feels like forever ago that Travis asked me to marry him, but on the other hand, it feels like it was last week.
We thought we had all the time in the world to plan and doing wedding things and it has just snuck-up on us just as everyone said it would.
We're trying to enjoy all of it but at times it is stressful and at times we just want to be done with planning.
It is all going to be so worth it. I know I'm ready to be a wife.
I can't wait to start this new adventure with my best friend.
On June 22nd it will mark 1 year for Travis and I. We will have been 'official' for a year.
And then less than a month from that date I will get to call him my husband.
Life is good. When all of this planning, work, and chaos is happening around you, you don't often realize what good you have. I am truly blessed.
We still have much left to do. MOST of the 'big' things are done, and we just have all the little ones to conquer.
We have a wedding website where we are asking people to go to RSVP for the reception and leave addresses. If you'd like an invite just click HERE.
It's fun looking back on the beginning, before our first date, who would have guessed we'd end up here.
I couldn't be happier.
Happy Friday everyone!

A Day to Remember.

Travis and I recently went to a concert last Saturday. It was our first concert together, which was surprising to us because we both have such a deep love for music.
We enjoyed it very much. Travis decided to crowd surf and to say the least it was more than worth it for him.
As he reached the front of the crowd before the stage, Trav got to shake the hand of Jeremy, the lead singer of ADTR! How cool right? I witnessed it all the way from the bar where I was hanging out avoiding the sweaty sea of people.
Well, happy Tuesday!

Slacking and Lacking.

I thought I would have more time to blog once I had a routine schedule I would have more time to blog.
WRONG.
Plus trying to plan wedding or at least knowing I have wedding stuff to plan, just gives me more reason to not blog.
The wedding is in 3 months! I am starting to feel the pressure of not having things done and ready.
It goes a little something like this:
I work 8:30-5:30, Monday-Friday (soon to change to 7-5:30, Monday-Friday minus Wednesdays) and when I get home from work, I go to the gym, and look forward to seeing Trav and getting to spend some time together. So needless to say, I don't feel like planning or looking for bridesmaid dresses or anything of that sort.
Then there is the weekend, my fun days... I definitely don't want to plan wedding stuff.
I have to stop this procrastination stuff.
Recently, I picked up my dress! I take it in for alterations in two weeks. In the mean time I need to get my wedding shoes! I have to have them at the fitting! AH.
I have found ONE bridesmaid dress! It should be here soon. Have you ever planned a wedding?
I knew it wasn't easy, but I had no idea there were so many things to think about. So many things that you wouldn't ever think to think about.
I'm currently house/puppy sitting for some of our friends who are on a vacation in Hawaii.
It's been nice so far, especially since it's closer to work. I do not miss the morning traffic on northbound I-15.
Now I am going to bombard this post with some instagram pictures best it is what I do best.

Well happy Saturday! I'm off to the A Day To Remember concert with Trav!

Hi Again!

Here we are a month later!
I am not improving with this blog thing. I've thought about giving up, but I wont!
I've started my new job at ZAGG, home of the invisibleSHIELD.
It's been an amazing job so far. I've been there just a little over a month now.
It is exactly the job I have been looking for. I got lucky that is for sure.
The only downside is having to drive from my house to work every morning.
Having to leave an hour early before work is not ideal.
It's going to be a lot better once Trav and I are finally married.
Wedding planning has come to a halt a little bit. Not on purpose, we just got caught up in life.
We need to jump back in. Only a little less than 19 weeks until the big day.
I say it all the time, but I would move it up to tomorrow if I could.
Anyway, I have a new cousin! My uncle Mark and aunt Carly, residents of Oregon, had their second son on February 27th and named him Thomas Sawyer Dunn. He's the most precious.
This is a picture of my uncle and Thomas. My mom got the pleasure of going up there this past week to meet the new edition. I was very jealous.
In other news, Travis has committed to a program for a body transformation!
He has started a new diet and work out routine. Soon, hopefully, I can work up the motivation to follow.
For now, I don't have too much time/energy to be working out.
However, as soon as I come up with a little extra cash I will get a membership and try to start going hopefully at least 3 days a week.
My main motivation is still managing to fit into my wedding dress come June!
I'm stuck in a rut with bridesmaid dresses! I don't know where to go or even look...
If any one has suggestions they would be greatly appreciated!
Happy Saturday.
I'll try not to put too much space in between now and the next time I blog.

Playing Catch Up.

Where to begin?
Well, I quit Subway. So very glad I did. It was time.
I was a bit stressed with not having a back up plan after subway, but no worries! I have found another job!
!!!!!!!!!! (digital excitement)
And I start tomorrow at 9 am. Wish me luck. Of course I will give a full report once I have some time.
It's going to be a full time job Monday - Friday. BUSY. It's what I need though for sure.
Friday was my 21st birthday. Let me just say how amazing the week/weekend was.
AMAZING.
My birthday morning started out at the DMV. Turning 21 means renewing your license and having to pay a few of 25$. Who said I wanted to turn 21 anyway?
After the DMV excitement I went to Trav's place, to find some flowers on his door step.
Then he played me some birthday songs with his guitar and then we headed off to breakfast.
Then we took a mini road trip to the beautiful Park City. Up there we went to a place called Color Me Mine.
It's where you get to pick out a ceramic piece (plate, bowl, mug, figurines, etc) and you get to paint it, they fire it in their kiln and you get to pick it up.
I painted a mug, of course, and Trav painted a pumpkin. Here is a picture of before we painted and after.
We get to pick them up soon! I will post the finish product of course!
After that Trav wanted to take me tubbing. We ended up not going because the hills weren't slick enough so we decided to do some shopping instead! (who could argue with that?)
We bought shoes and some clothes for me at Gap.
When we were all shopped out we head back to good old SLC.
He took me to the delicious Tucanos. If you haven't been there I HIGHLY recommend it. Super yummy Brazilian food.
I sure love this goof.
After our bellies were full my sweetie surprised me by taking me to see the Vow! By the way all the days activities were a surprise and all planned by my sweet heart. He is seriously the best.
After the movie we went back to his place and then his wonderful sisters and mom brought me cupcakes and a balloon. We partied and had a sleepover!
Saturday afternoon Trav and I went to lunch with some of my friends to Red Robin. It was great to see all of them!
That night we went to dinner with my parents at the Olive Garden, it was tasty. My parents gave me a pearl necklace and pearl earrings for my birthday! It was the sweetest gift, I love them.
After dinner we stopped by my Grandma's house to visit with family.
My Aunt Shea and her family are in town from Portland.
Sunday morning rolled around and we went to one of Trav's good friends mission farewell.
Then onto dinner at my Grandma's house. Yummy food and good company.
Look how cute my cousin Sammi is.
So smiley and she poses for the camera all by herself. Adorable.

Such a fun weekend. I am so spoiled and very blessed to have all these amazing people in my life.
Happy Monday!
