Last day of the 18th year.

This year has been a long one.
A hard one.
A sad one.
A good one.
A healthy one.
Pretty much any kind of adjective you can think of.
But most of all I think it was the year that I grew up more than anything.

I graduated high school.
I got accepted to college, moved away from my family and home.
Was put into the 'real world' and was able to learn so much from my surroundings.

I lost some friends and gained some.
I had a lot of trial and error.
It was a new experience being able to test the waters of life.

I know it was only one year in an amount of time, but I feel like it was a life time.
And I still have many life times to live.
